Dance Nation

Fall 2023

Directed by Susan Dalian and choreographed by Kitty McNamee, Jamie joined the Dance Nation cast as Maeve, an imaginative and sensitive 14-year-old on a competition dance team. This feral play unapologetically dissects the tenderness of girlhood and the toxicity of the competition dance world.

Motherhood & Movement Salon

Fall 2023

As the culmination of their Production and Festival internship with Heidi Duckler Dance, Jamie curated an evening of works inspired by motherhood and the way it continuously moves through our lives. The salon featured a solo movement piece performed by Jamie, live music, projections, and an interactive sound activity. To learn more about this multi-disciplinary, communal experience click here.

Cymbeline

Spring 2023

After training at the British American Drama Academy (BADA), Jamie performed as Posthumus, the heart-sick, prideful lover in BADA’s production of Cymbeline, performed at Theatro Technis in London, England.

Me & You

Fall 2022

Currently in the festival circuit, Jamie co-produced Me & You, a short film investigating a woman’s role in a heteronormative relationship, prompting the possibilities and challenges of finding something better. The Me & You set was led by queer POC, and Jamie is proud to have worked on a project that models the future of equity in entertainment industry. Watch the trailer here.

Collective Rage

Fall 2022

Hilarious, bawdy, and unapologetically queer, Jen Silverman’s play follows five characters, all coincidentally named Betty, on their journey of falling in love, learning to box, and putting on the most chaotic rendition of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Jamie directed this play with Dorthy’s Friends Theatre Company, a collective dedicated to championing empowering queer stories. Find Jamie’s directing resume here.
