Jamie is passionate about creating spaces for young people and those systemically excluded from the arts to express themselves through Performance and Movement. Jamie has worked with children as young as two years old, with Elementary and Middle School students, and with Young Adults. They’ve taught devising and playwriting courses at Center for the Arts Eagle Rock and Westridge School for Girls. They are currently entering their second year working as an aide to a student with Mosaic Down Syndrome and teaching Shakespeare Workshops for elementary LAUSD students with The Young Shakespeareans. They also teach an annual Movement workshop with live music at the Yipps Music Festival in Joshua Tree for folks of all movement backgrounds.
